Dave received his Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Education and
Master’s degree in Agronomy from the University of Illinois. After participating for six months in the FFA Work
Experience Abroad program in West Germany, Dave joined the University of Illinois Cooperative Extension Service
Staff. He served as Agricultural Extension Advisor for 3 ½ years in his home county of Shelby, and 4 ½ years in
Piatt County.
Dave worked for eight years as a sales agronomist for two Illinois cooperatives, Grand Prairie
Co-op and Effingham Equity before joining Rich Connell AGRI-SEARCH in 1999. Dave is married with three children.
He enjoys spending time with family, Illini basketball, Cardinal baseball and being active in Promise Keepers.

Jim Fleming

Prior to joining our staff, Jim served
agriculture for nearly 20 years as a Radio Farm
Broadcaster at broadcast outlets in Illinois and Indiana. For his service to agriculture, Jim received the
Excellence in Broadcast Media Award by the Illinois Commodity Groups in 1999. In addition, Jim is a
recipient of the FFA American Farmer Degree and Honorary State FFA Degree. His educational background focused on
Agricultural Production at Lake Land College, Mattoon.
Jim and his wife are 4-H Club Leaders. He is an officer on the Macon County 4-H Foundation
Board and is active in his church, where he serves on the Usher Team and is a small group ministry leader.
Jim specializes in the Seed,
Agronomy, and Agribusiness areas.

Kelly received her
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Economics from the University of
Illinois. Prior to joining
our staff, she was employed by John Deere and Company for nine years
working in the areas of marketing and sales, precision agriculture, and
dealer development. She is
a 2004 graduate of the Illinois Agriculture Leadership Program and a
2006 member of the Quad Cities Women’s Executive Leadership Council.
Kelly
and her husband reside in Shelby County, IL.
She enjoys international travel, reading, church activities, and
spending time with her family.

Genny
received her bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Economics and master’s
degree in Agriculture Education from the University of Illinois.
Prior to joining AGRI-SEARCH, she was general manager of
Rockome Gardens, an agri-tourism destination in east central Illinois.
During Genny’s university career, she interned with Quaker
Oats, PetSmart Corporate, Domaine du Temboret, Logan Agri-Service, and
Twin City Bible Church.
Genny
enjoys being involved in her church, spending time with family and
friends, outdoor sports, and helping with her family’s grain and
livestock farm.

Bobbie Montgomery

Bobbie joined the
AGRI-SEARCH team in 2006 with a lifetime of experience in production
agriculture. Bobbie was born
and raised on a farm in Sangamon County, IL.
Later, her family relocated to Monticello, IL, where she graduated
from Monticello High School. Bobbie married Forrest Montgomery and the two started
farming. Over the next 28
years, they raised corn, soybeans and livestock on nearly 1300 acres and
had various seed dealerships. In
addition to farming, Bobbie worked as a Vocational Trainer with the
Developmentally Disabled. She
was very active with the 4-H and Extension program in Piatt County,
serving as a 4-H club leader for 12 years as well as served on numerous
committees, councils, and 4-H fair activities.
Bobbie also served on the Board of Directors for the National Pygmy
Goat Association and was elected National President for three years.
Bobbie and Forrest reside
in rural Arthur. The couple
has two grown sons. Bobbie
enjoys gardening, genealogy and spending time with family.

Jennifer received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from
Illinois State University. She
was raised on farms in Elsberry, Missouri, and Sullivan and Arthur,
Illinois. Her family still owns a Centennial farm and
a Sesquicentennial farm in Central Illinois.
Prior to joining the AGRI-SEARCH staff, she served in
various capacities in higher education for 10 years and healthcare for
4 years.
Jennifer
enjoys spending time with her family and being involved in her church,
American Legion Auxiliary, Arthur Woman’s Club, and being Village Clerk
of Arthur.

Rich received his Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from
Iowa State University and spent nine years on the family farm in northwest Iowa. The next 23 years he worked in
sales and management with Farmland Industries. Rich then joined the farmer-marketing program for a commodity
brokerage firm where he established a personnel search division before forming his own company, Rich Connell AGRI-SEARCH,
Inc. in 1995.
Rich specialized in working with boards of directors on compensation surveys, marketing plans,
board retreats for strategic planning, and merger and acquisition proposals.

Tom Ryan has over 30 years experience
in Agribusiness. Tom started as a Grain Accounting Controller. He held positions in Grain Marketing
and Grain Operations Management, Rice Milling, Edible Bean Milling, and managed a $30,000,000 Farm Supply
business. Tom also was CEO of two regional Co-ops.
Tom lives in Frankenmuth, MI and he specializes regionally in Michigan, North Dakota, Minnesota and Canadian
Agribusiness Placement and Consulting opportunities.
