A Field Operations Supervisor is needed to work in seed corn production in central Illinois.  This career opportunity consists of working with farmers to secure acreage for growing seed corn.  You will be signing contracts, finding new acres, crop consulting, scheduling detasseling and harvesting crews, monitoring irrigation, and working in the plant as needed.  You will also manage 10-15 full-time employees and up to 100 migrant workers at different times throughout the year.

The preferred candidate will have a degree in agriculture, a farm background, and excellent computer and agronomic skills.  You must be able to manage different personality types and be able to communicate well.  Speaking Spanish will be very helpful.
