A growing and leading industrial construction company seeks a highly experienced Agricultural Construction Superintendent in British Columbia, Canada, to manage and oversee the planning, construction, and day-to-day activities of building a grain handling facility. This person will report to the Project Manager and will ensure that the project is completed as required.
The ideal candidate must have at least 10 years of agricultural industry field experience and must have supervisory experience in running both small and large crews. This person must have knowledge of operating cranes and other heavy equipment as well as mechanical / industrial / millwright / ironwork experience in an agricultural setting. Safety is an important aspect of this position.
Excellent communications skills are necessary along with proficiency in Microsoft Office to meet with clients and perform paperwork and reports. This person must have a good demeanor, be professional in stressful situations, be a leader, and be able to multitask several projects.
Salary will be in the $80-100,000 range plus excellent benefits and incentives. A company paid vehicle, phone, and computer will be provided. US candidates will be considered as the company will handle the appropriate paperwork. This position will require extended amounts of time away from home. British Columbia, Canada.
